Meet Your Guide:
Cory Nation
I’m Cory, a licensed professional engineer, transformation strategist, and autistic innovator. But those titles only scratch the surface.
For much of my life, I didn’t know why I felt out of place. Teachers suggested evaluations, but my mom couldn’t bear the thought something might be “wrong” with her son. I masked for decades. When I met my wife at 25, and later spoke with an autism therapist and underwent clinical evaluation, I was finally able to put a name to what I always knew: I’m autistic, ADHD-combined, and have experienced trauma, dissociative amnesia, and major depressive disorder as a result of living in a world not built for my brain.
Despite this, or perhaps because of it, I’ve thrived in uniquely creative ways. I think in pictures, not words. I generate ideas daily – without effort. I’ve facilitated 100s of workshops, guided 1,000s of people through transformation, and hold multiple US patents from problems I helped others see differently. I’ve built and sold companies, all while being told I wasn’t listening, wasn’t behaving properly, or wasn’t engaged – because I process differently.
My sensory sensitivities, like seeing fluorescent lights flicker or feeling the hum of electricity in a room aren’t quirks, they’re daily obstacles. But through them, I’ve learned how deeply environment impacts performance.
This advisory isn’t a sideline. It’s the culmination of lived experience and hard-won understanding, delivered with empathy, structure, and clarity.
