Privacy Policy

When you use a form on this site — the contact form or the resources notify list — we collect what you enter: your name, email address, company (if you provide one), and your message. That information is stored in our database, hosted on Google Cloud Platform, and a notification email containing it is sent to us so we can respond.

We do not ask for, and you should not send, sensitive personal information through these forms.

To respond to your inquiry, to tell you when the thing you asked to be notified about is available, and for our own records of the conversation. That’s it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

The ACD page records first-party usage events, such as sections viewed and signup actions, using a random per-visit identifier. The identifier is kept in session storage and is separate from subscriber identity. Google Analytics is not currently loaded.

The guide answers questions using reviewed public website material. Questions you submit are sent to the website service. If you choose AI assistance, those questions and relevant public excerpts may be processed by Google Vertex AI to prepare an answer. Without that choice, the guide uses local retrieval from the public material. Please keep confidential records, credentials, and sensitive personal information out of chat.

Project-planning answers and contact fields are kept separate from the chat model. You can review and edit the inquiry summary before choosing to send it to Build TBD. The inquiry form submits the reviewed fields, rather than automatically forwarding the conversation transcript.

The conversation remains in the current browser session while you use the guide. The application does not save chat transcripts as lead records. Operational request information may be used for security and abuse controls.

The intended beneficiary of customer payments is Build TBD, LLC. Online payment collection is not yet active. When enabled, payment details will be entered on the selected provider’s hosted page, under that provider’s privacy terms. Do not enter card numbers or bank account details into the guide or contact form.

The site stores your “Calm” display preference in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device. We do not currently set tracking cookies.

Functional receipt cookies may be used to verify that an inquiry or research signup was received. They are separate from tracking cookies.

The site runs on Google Cloud Platform, and configured email notifications use Google Workspace. Notification delivery is best effort. Those providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.

We keep inquiry records for as long as they are useful for the conversation they belong to. If you would like your information corrected or deleted, ask — via the contact page — and we will do it.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. This is an early version of the policy, published ahead of a formal legal review; the substance of the commitments above will not get weaker.
